QUOTE (noob @ Feb 19 2006, 12:55 PM) However, it was funny like any other anime/cartoon.
Not every anime has violence just for laughs though, but UrashimaKeitarou pointed out, it's not like there aren't violent movies.

QUOTE franch movie normally full of explicit material (with real people again)

I think the issue this group has, though, is loli/shota because they're children. If they tried to make a RL movie with that sort of material, there would be some problems.

QUOTE (PsiPyro @ Feb 19 2006, 01:31 PM) my sister of 11 likes ecchi/hentai. Ecchi is one thing, but hentai at 11 is a bit too crude...

Ya true. Same thing I told her, ecchi is ok, but hentai is a bit to much. Some of the H she found while searching for 'shaka', a zulu chief on google image search (that was for school). Maybe people should start moaning about google image search.

Im also not a big fan of hentai, some like futari ecchi(not really H) and moonlight lady was ok.

That was a disturbing taugth to think of a Zulu as an H picture.

QUOTE (jee)K, have not read the whole thread in detail, so if someone mentioned it - apologies... but did you see that the official page has been taken down, possibly to make corrections. However, it was very craftily cached by http://www.ikimashou.net/misc/ncecc/ - no real mention of normal hentai.

I don't watch much of ecchi either.

This whole topic is not about Canadian government going all against the "ecchi" or "hentai" animes. It's about Canadian government going all out against the child porn-o-graphy

That site has been bothering me for some time. I mean, it really looks offical, but there is something wrong. I think I found something

take a look at their contact page.
http://ncecc.ca/contact_e.htm

There is no address or phone number whatsoever, only an email.
Pay attention to the email -> [email protected]bellnet.ca

bellnet.ca??? What kind of a govermental organization uses an adress like that? Ministry have enough mail server to host everything inside. They don't use external service.

Beside, ministry and govermental offices are all using .gov.ca address.
So this confirms it. This thing looks official, but it is not. And I think I will report it to some official channel. They should not appear to be a govermental group if they are not. This needs to be investigated more in deepth.

You know goggle has image-search restrictions, right? If you go to the preferences page, I believe, it gives you this near the bottom

SafeSearch Filtering
Google's SafeSearch blocks web pages containing explicit sexual content from appearing in search results.
- Use strict filtering (Filter both explicit text and explicit images)
- Use moderate filtering (Filter explicit images only - default behavior)
- Do not filter my search results.

At the top of your image search page, it states what your current settings are ("____ seach is on")

I suppose the lesson we can learn from this organization is that not everyone is a government group, even though they claim it, so we should double-check sources (especially sources that rely on wikipedia

So that is the reason of cutting 10 minutes of Naruto's ep last week to show an important message which was about that crap. Anyway I dont care about it because they cant stop airing the animes for older otakus (15+) because YTV is warning the audience before the beginning of the shows and the animes that are put at risk are those for kids. I watched Mew Mew Power (which is for kids) and there's more skin than Inuyasha, Eureka Seven,Bleach... I mean watching girls in colored japanese school swimsuits fighting with cat-ears on their heads is more perverted from my point of view.

Besides, Im proud to be in the country that is airing the most animes right after Japan (and maybe China

no I think Canada shows more since they have YTV. Besides GSD I heard was coming to Canada, but not to the US

Apparently the US stopped showing Gundam series because they were so bad from the US viewers point of views.

Hmmm, well after reading your posts and that whole damn article which bashes hentai im a little pissed of. Ok so we ca drop the loli, and shota because their children. But I do beleave that as long as its not anything that deals with pedophilia it should be fine.
Hell i think it would be cool to go to the Movies on Demand section of my TVs web browser and watch H-anime but thats just my idea.
Anyways in canada its impossible to stop anime thats for sure. i mean we even have it in our high school library (so far only a couple DVDs and 100+manga XD) Yeah i kinda think that site is a fake, but if so how did the get the gn.ca URL?

When I was in the dominican Rep. last year during christmas, it was raining half of the time. So I spent most of the rainy days watching cartoon network, especially adult swim. I could choose whether I like the spanish version of cartoon network or english. Spanish won, I have never had so much fun in my life, listening to all those cartoons in spanish

PS: they aired 5 eps of Inuyasha around midnight.... or was it more? I dont know, I must have fallen asleep afther the 5th one.
