There have been many users recently posting on the forums, asking why certain anime are not up on this site. Many of them have also been asking for us to "add it to the site". I'm going to set the record straight in one location so all of you can STOP asking.
If an anime that is currently airing or only very recently finished is NOT on this site, there is almost always a reason. Below are many of the reasons as to why we do not provide the anime on our site.
AnimeSuki regards all anime on CrunchyRoll as being licensed by them. That means we WILL NOT have those animes on the main site.
We will also NOT 'add a series to the site'. Everything is automatic right now, it would require untold amount of man-hours in order to manually add all releases to the site.
Currently, our policy regarding animes which are licensed by CrunchyRoll for digital distribution is still up in the air - though the FansubTV Team is working on making a final decision regarding this. Until then, you may post in the Anime Request Thread. If we decide to treat anime from CrunchyRoll/HULU as licensed, I will edit this post.

- The anime is not on AnimeSuki - the site from which FTV fetches the torrent to add to the server.
- If AnimeSuki doesn't have the anime, it is most likely because the anime is licensed.
- If the anime isn't licensed, it's probably not up because it was produced by Gonzo, Funimation or MFI - all of whom have formally submitted Cease & Desist letters for their works. We respect this as well.
- If an anime is not on AnimeSuki - and thus we do not have it - but is NOT licensed, you may request a download link in the Anime Request Thread.
- Before making a request, DO A SEARCH to make sure no one else has already requested it.
